Who we are

RaidCodex (raidcodex.com) is an independent fan site for RAID: Shadow Legends. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Plarium. The game, its champions and its artwork belong to Plarium. Questions about this page: [email protected].

What the site does with your data

The website itself has no accounts, no sign-in and no forms. Your choices on a page (for example a champion's level or rank, or the filters you pick) are kept in your browser and in the page address, so that you can share a link. We do not store them or use them for anything else. Like any website, your browser sends the page address to the site's host (Cloudflare) when it loads the page.

RaidCodex account and overlay

The RaidCodex Overlay is a separate Windows app. To use it you create a free RaidCodex account at account.raidcodex.com, which has its own privacy notice: Privacy: RaidCodex accounts. It explains what the account keeps (your sign-in email and name, the PCs you use, and check-in times), who handles it for us (Clerk for sign-in, Cloudflare for hosting) and how to download or delete your data. Nothing from your game is sent to us unless you choose to share battle reports in the overlay (an unticked box, off by default; the account privacy notice explains what a report contains). The overlay also downloads a small signed version file from raidcodex.com when it starts and every six hours, to offer updates; that download sends nothing about you. Browsing raidcodex.com still needs no account, and we do not link your visits here to an account.

Visit statistics

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, so that we can see which pages are used and whether they load quickly. Cloudflare says it does not use cookies or local storage for this (nothing is stored on your device), does not identify individual visitors, and does not log the part of a page address after a question mark. It records the page visited, where the visit came from, your country, your browser and operating system, and how quickly the page loaded. We count visitors from every country, including the European Union and the United Kingdom. Cloudflare says your IP address is discarded at its nearest data centre and is not stored with these records, and that it keeps the detailed records for 7 days and then reduces them to summaries. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving the site. A content blocker will usually stop the counting, and the site works the same without it. If you would rather not be counted, use one, or write to us.

Cloudflare

The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which handles the traffic and may log technical details, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site securely. See Cloudflare's own privacy policy for how it does that.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Because we do not keep information that identifies you, there is usually nothing to look up, but write to [email protected] and we will answer.

Changes

If we add anything that sends your game data to us, or change what the account keeps, we will update this page and the account notice and ask you before it starts.
