Relic
Gauntlet of Ruin
Ability
Increases the wearer's Ignore DEF effects by 1% every time they place a debuff using a skill (stacks up to 5%).

RaidCodex explanationIgnore DEF
A battle effect, not a stat: it works in battle when its condition is met and never appears on the champion's stat screen. The relic's own three stats are different: they always count in the champion's stats.
Worked out from the kind of effect in the game's data (ChangeDefenceModifier); not tested in battle.
Ability by level
The ability gets stronger as the relic levels up: ability level 2 at relic level 6, then 9, 12, 15 and level 6 at relic level 18. Each row is the game's own line for that level.
| Ability level | Relic level | The game's line |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0 | As in the ability text |
| 2 | 6 | Max Ignore DEF +3% |
| 3 | 9 | Max Ignore DEF +3% |
| 4 | 12 | Max Ignore DEF +3% |
| 5 | 15 | Max Ignore DEF +3% |
| 6 | 18 | Max Ignore DEF +3% |
The game's skill data for this ability could not be matched to its text step by step, so only the game's own lines are shown.
Faction Bonus
- Dark Elves The wearer deals an additional 3% MAX HP damage from all skills for each debuff on the target (stacks up to 30%). Bosses & minions receive 25k more damage for each debuff on them (stacks up to 250k).
- Orcs The wearer deals 5% more damage with skills for each debuff on the target.
- Argonites The wearer's C.DMG is increased by 20% when using skills for each debuff on the target.
Each line works only when the wearer belongs to that faction.
Stats
These stats count in the champion's stats: the game's stat screen lists them in its "Relic" column.

Every relic uses the same stat table: a stat's value depends only on the relic's level. Rarity decides the starting rank, not the numbers. Each relic has three stats: the first works from level 0, the second from level 9 and the third from level 15.
Gemstone sockets
This relic has 3 sockets. A Gemstone only fits a socket of the same shape:
There are 5 different shapes of Gemstone, and they can only be inserted into Sockets that are the same shape.
Rank and level
Legendary Relic: starts at rank 3, which allows up to level 9. Each rank raises the maximum level by 3, up to rank 6 and level 18.
Ranking up a Relic allows to upgrade its Level further, increasing its stats and the strength of its Ability.
Relic Lore
Wearing this, a warrior can plunge his fist into the chest of a rampaging Ogryn, or yet larger beast, and pull its still-beating heart out. Many have met their demise at the hands of one wielding this ancient gauntlet.
